Anne Mjaatvedt has spent her legal career protecting the rights of individuals in employment and civil rights matters, and has a current emphasis on consumer debt settlements. Anne is an experienced litigator and negotiator, and has represented clients in court, trials, mediation and administrative hearings. Prior to her association with the Rosenberg Law Group, she was a solo practitioner representing plaintiffs in employment and civil rights matters both in Washington and in South Carolina, where she originally began practicing law.
Anne earned her law degree at the University of South Carolina School of Law where she was Associate Editor of the South Carolina Environmental Law Journal. Prior to entering law school, she was a scientific researcher studying genetics and brain development. Since becoming a lawyer, she has enjoyed the opportunity to work with people solving their legal problems.
Anne is also a volunteer attorney providing pro bono services through the Unemployment Law Project, the King County Bar Association Housing Justice Project, and the Columbia Legal Services Reentry Clinic. She is a member of the Washington Employment Lawyers Association (WELA) and the Solo and Small Practice Section of the King County Bar Association.
Anne moved to Washington in 2013 in order to pursue her love of mountains, hiking, skiing and snowshoeing.
